Anti-DLAT Antibody

This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets dihydrolipoamide S-acetyltransferase (DLAT), the E2 subunit of the pyruvate dehydrogenase complex anchored in the mitochondrial matrix. The reagent is provided at 1 mg/mL in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, packaged as a 100 µL liquid aliquot, and has been validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human, mouse, and rat samples.

Because DLAT channels acetyl groups from pyruvate decarboxylation into the TCA cycle, the antibody supports research into mitochondrial bioenergetics, oxidative phosphorylation, and the metabolic shifts observed in cancer and metabolic disease. It is also widely used in immunology and hepatology workflows, where autoantibodies against the PDC-E2 (DLAT) epitope are a defining serological marker of primary biliary cholangitis.
