Raised in rabbits against human Dipeptidyl-peptidase 3 (DPP3), this unconjugated polyclonal primary antibody from Antibodies.com is supplied as 100 µl of reagent validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence applications.

DPP3 is a cytosolic zinc-dependent metallopeptidase that cleaves dipeptides from the N-terminus of substrates such as angiotensin II, Leu-enkephalin, and Arg-vasopressin, placing it within peptide hormone turnover, oxidative stress response, and pain modulation research. Recognition of the human 82 kDa subunit makes the reagent useful for probing fixed-cell immunofluorescence and formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections, supporting expression studies in cancer cell lines, cardiac tissue, and neurological specimens.

Polyclonal reactivity enables binding to multiple epitopes across the target, which is advantageous for detecting both full-length and processed DPP3 forms in denatured lysates. The unconjugated preparation ships in a single vial and should be stored refrigerated, protected from light, and divided into aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles and preserve binding activity over time.
