DIAPH1 (Diaphanous-related formin 1) acts as a downstream effector of Rho GTPases, promoting actin filament nucleation and elongation during stress fiber assembly, cytokinesis, cell adhesion, and directed migration. Mutations in the DIAPH1 locus are linked to DFNA1, an autosomal dominant form of progressive sensorineural hearing loss, and the protein is also studied in cytoskeletal remodeling during immune synapse formation, phagocytosis, and megakaryocyte/platelet cytoskeleton organization. This polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit and supplied by Antibodies.com as a 100 µl aliquot at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. The antibody is unconjugated and has been applied in Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows on Human, Mouse, and Rat samples, supporting research into actin dynamics, cytoskeletal signaling, and hereditary hearing loss. For storage, keep aliquots frozen at -20°C and limit freeze-thaw cycles to preserve binding activity.
