Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody for DIAPH1 Detection

Produced in rabbit and supplied by Antibodies.com as a 200 µl liquid preparation of IgG, this polyclonal antibody recognizes DIAPH1 (Diaphanous-Related Formin 1), a member of the formin family of actin nucleators that drives actin filament assembly, cytoskeletal remodeling, and microtubule stabilization. The reagent is validated for Western Blot (WB) and Immunofluorescence (IF) workflows and shows reactivity with human and mouse samples, making it suitable for comparative studies across established cell lines, primary cultures, and tissue lysates.

DIAPH1 is recruited to regions of active cytoskeletal remodeling through its interaction with Rho-family GTPases such as RhoA and Cdc42, and the antibody is widely used by laboratories investigating formin-mediated actin polymerization, cell migration, cytokinesis, intracellular vesicle trafficking, focal adhesion turnover, and the molecular basis of DFNA1 (autosomal dominant non-syndromic hearing loss) and other DIAPH1-associated disorders. The unconjugated format allows end users to couple the antibody to fluorophores, enzymes, or other labels according to their own experimental needs, and the polyclonal nature of the reagent supports detection of multiple epitopes on the target protein in both fixed-cell imaging and immunoblotting workflows.

Each vial is intended for research use only and should be handled according to standard primary antibody practice, including aliquoting upon arrival to limit freeze-thaw cycles and storage at freezer temperatures for long-term stability.
