Anti-DIABLO Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody targets the DIABLO protein (also known as Smac), a mitochondrial pro-apoptotic factor released into the cytosol during programmed cell death. The reagent is supplied at 50 µl per vial as an unconjugated IgG preparation at 1.0 mg/mL, raised in rabbit against a recombinant human DIABLO immunogen and affinity-purified using the immunogen to enrich specific binders. The antibody recognises endogenous levels of total DIABLO and has been validated for Western blotting (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunofluorescence (IF) workflows. Cross-reactivity has been confirmed in human, mouse and rat samples, making the antibody suitable for comparative studies across standard laboratory species. The product is provided in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺), pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant. For handling, vials are shipped at 4 °C and, upon receipt, should be aliquoted and stored at −20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve antibody integrity.
