Raised in rabbit against recombinant human DHRS9 protein, this unconjugated polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com detects endogenous levels of total DHRS9 in human, mouse, and rat samples. The antibody was produced using a human recombinant immunogen and purified by affinity chromatography against that immunogen, with demonstrated cross-reactivity to the mouse and rat orthologs in addition to the intended human target, supporting comparative studies across rodent model systems and primary human tissue.

Each vial is supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol, in a 100 µl pack size. Validation work published by Antibodies.com includes Western blot on whole-cell extracts of multiple cell lines and immunofluorescence staining of fixed HeLa cells, where DAPI is used to counterstain nuclei alongside the primary reagent. The reagent is shipped at 4 °C; on arrival it should be aliquoted and stored at -20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided and the vial protected from light to preserve binding activity across downstream applications.

Typical uses include probing DHRS9 induction in colorectal carcinoma and hepatic tissue, characterising retinoic-acid-biosynthesis enzyme levels in tolerogenic macrophages and regulatory T-cell subsets, and following this retinol dehydrogenase in innate immune cell populations by immunoblotting of cell lysates or by fluorescence microscopy of fixed cells and tissue sections.
