Anti-DHHC-9 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified reagent is raised in rabbit and recognizes endogenous levels of DHHC-9 (also known as ZDHHC9), a palmitoyltransferase enzyme. The polyclonal preparation is supplied at 1 mg/mL in a liquid PBS buffer containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA, and 0.02% sodium azide, and is offered in a 50 µl vial as an unconjugated, ready-to-use reagent intended for research use only. The antibody was generated against a synthesized peptide derived from the C-terminal region of human DHHC-9 and cross-reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting its use in western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and ELISA workflows. Specificity has been validated so that the antiserum detects endogenous DHHC-9 protein in whole-cell and tissue lysates, and the product is shipped at 4 °C; on arrival it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve titre and binding activity.
