Anti-DHFR Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against dihydrofolate reductase (DHFR), supplied by Antibodies.com. The reagent is unconjugated, of the IgG isotype, and provided as a liquid preparation. It is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) applications, with reactivity confirmed against human and mouse samples.

The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 1–187 of human DHFR (NP_000782.1), and the target protein has a molecular weight of 19 kDa. The antibody is affinity purified and formulated in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide; concentration is lot specific. Recommended working dilutions are 1:500–1:2,000 for WB and 1:50–1:200 for ICC/IF. The product is shipped at 4°C; upon arrival it should be aliquoted and stored at −20°C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
