The Antibodies.com polyclonal antibody to DHDH (dihydrodiol dehydrogenase) is a rabbit IgG reagent raised against the human enzyme and supplied as an unconjugated aliquot of 50 µl. DHDH is a cytoplasmic NAD(P)-dependent oxidoreductase that converts trans-dihydrodiols of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons and also oxidizes D-xylose, so it is of interest in studies of xenobiotic metabolism and carbohydrate utilization. The reagent should be stored refrigerated to preserve activity, with aliquots prepared to limit repeated freeze-thaw cycles. This polyclonal reagent is validated for Western blot detection in human, mouse, and rat samples, where a single band near the predicted molecular weight can be used to monitor expression in liver, kidney, and other tissues with measurable xenobiotic processing activity.
