Anti-DHDDS Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against DHDDS, offered by Antibodies.com as a Primary Antibody for Western blot (WB) applications. The unconjugated IgG reagent is produced in rabbit and purified by affinity purification, supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% thiomersal. It is validated for reactivity with human, mouse, and rat samples, with a recommended WB dilution range of 1:500–1:2,000.

The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 20–200 of human DHDDS (NP_995583.1), and the target protein has a reported molecular weight of 34 kDa. For shipping and storage, vials are transported at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C upon arrival, with freeze/thaw cycles to be avoided. The product is intended for research use only and is not for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.

A representative Western blot was performed on extracts of various cell lines using the antibody at a 1:1,000 dilution, with a Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (HRP) secondary antibody at 1:10,000. Lysates were present at 25 µg per lane in 3% non-fat dry milk in TBST as the blocking buffer, and signal was developed with an ECL Basic Kit using a 20-second exposure.
