Raised in rabbit against diacylglycerol kinase beta, this unconjugated polyclonal IgG primary antibody from Antibodies.com is supplied at 50 µl and validated for Western blot detection of the DGKB isoform in mouse and rat samples.

DGKB is a lipid kinase that converts diacylglycerol to phosphatidic acid, contributing to regulation of membrane-derived signaling intermediates implicated in neuronal excitability, immune cell activation, and metabolic control. Detecting the beta isoform separately from other diacylglycerol kinase family members supports studies of brain and lymphoid tissue, where DGKB expression is most pronounced, and helps distinguish its role from closely related DGK alpha, gamma, and zeta isoforms in comparative Western blot experiments.

For best results, centrifuge briefly before opening, store at -20 °C, and prepare working aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles. Provided as 50 µl of liquid in a vial, unconjugated and ready for use with standard HRP- or fluorescence-labeled secondary reagents. Intended for research use only.
