Anti-DGK-ι (K1023) Antibody

Produced by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody to DGK-ι (K1023) is validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence applications. It reacts with human, mouse and rat samples and is supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline with 15 mM sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2.

The reagent was generated using a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 1001-1050 of human DGK-ι as the immunogen and detects endogenous levels of the DGK-ι protein. It has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, with a purity greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE. The target protein has an observed molecular weight of approximately 130 kDa.

Diacylglycerol kinases such as DGK-ι phosphorylate diacylglycerol to phosphatidic acid, helping to regulate intracellular DAG levels and downstream cell signalling. DGK-ι is classified as a type II diacylglycerol kinase and contains an N-terminal pleckstrin homology (PH) domain.
