Description
From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody is raised against Desmin (V56) and supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide at approx. pH 7.2. The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 20–70 of Human Desmin, and the reagent detects endogenous levels of Desmin protein. It has been validated for Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC), and reacts with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples.
The antibody is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, with a stated purity of > 95% by SDS-PAGE. The target protein has a molecular weight of approximately 54 kDa.
