Anti-Desmin (I448) Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this Rabbit polyclonal antibody is raised against Desmin (I448) and is supplied at 1 mg/ml in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 15 mM sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2. It is unconjugated and validated for use in WB, IHC and IF applications, with reactivity confirmed against Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

The antibody was generated using a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 420–470 of Human Desmin as the immunogen, and detects endogenous levels of the Desmin protein. It has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with a stated purity of > 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE. The target protein has a molecular weight of approximately 54 kDa.
