Anti-DES Antibody

This polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit and targets Desmin (DES). It is of the IgG isotype, unconjugated, and supplied as a liquid formulation in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide, prepared by affinity purification.

The reagent has been validated for reactivity against human, mouse, and rat samples. The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 121–470 of human Desmin (NP_001918.3), and the target has a reported molecular weight of 54 kDa. The Antibodies.com product page lists WB and IF as applications, while the manufacturer's specification sheet lists WB and IHC, with recommended dilutions of WB 1:500–1:2,000 and IHC 1:50–1:200.
