Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this primary antibody is a rabbit polyclonal reagent raised against DDX58 (also known as RIG-I), an intracellular pattern-recognition receptor involved in antiviral innate immunity. The antibody was generated using a synthetic peptide of human DDX58 as the immunogen and was subsequently purified by affinity chromatography on the immunogen. It is supplied at a working concentration of 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺), pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol. The unconjugated format allows flexible downstream labelling, and the polyclonal nature ensures recognition of multiple epitopes on the target protein. Validated applications include Western Blotting (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), and Immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), making it suitable for both denatured and fixed-sample workflows. The reagent is reactive with human samples and detects endogenous levels of total DDX58 protein. The 50 µL pack size is shipped at 4 °C; upon receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve antibody integrity. Intended for research use only, this reagent provides a reliable tool for laboratories investigating RIG-I signalling, type I interferon responses, and related innate-immune pathways.
