Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against the DEAD-box helicase DDX52 and is intended for the qualitative detection of endogenous DDX52 protein in human samples. The immunogen corresponds to a synthetic peptide derived from the C-terminal region of human DDX52, and the antibody was isolated from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using that epitope-specific peptide, yielding a polyclonal IgG preparation supplied as an unconjugated, liquid formulation in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide at a working concentration of 1 mg/mL. The 50 µl vial ships at 4 °C and should be aliquoted and stored long-term at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity. Validated applications cover Western blotting (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and ELISA, with reactivity restricted to human tissue and cell-derived samples. Researchers will find this reagent well suited to expression-profiling studies, validation of DDX52 involvement in ribosomal RNA processing pathways, and confirmatory immunohistochemistry on fixed human sections, while the unconjugated format allows downstream pairing with HRP, biotin or fluorophore-labelled secondary antibodies according to the experimental design. As a research-use-only reagent, it is not validated for diagnostic or therapeutic use and should be handled with standard laboratory precautions for azide-containing buffers.
