Anti-DDX3 (6G8) Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com and supplied through AFMS, this Mouse monoclonal antibody (clone 6G8) is raised against the DDX3 target (DDX3X, the ATP-dependent RNA helicase also known as DEAD-box protein 3). It is provided as a purified immunoglobulin in a liquid formulation of 0.1 M Tris-Glycine buffer (pH 7.4) with 150 mM NaCl, 0.2% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, supplied unconjugated at a 50 µL pack size. The host species is Mouse and the clonality is monoclonal, with the heavy-chain class reported as IgG (IgG2a in comparable reference clones of the 6G8 lineage). The reagent has been validated for Western Blotting (WB), Immunocytochemistry (ICC) and Immunoprecipitation (IP), and it shows reactivity with Human, Mouse and Rat samples. The target protein has a calculated and observed molecular weight of approximately 73 kDa, corresponding to full-length DDX3X. The antibody is affinity-purified and recommended for detection of endogenous DDX3 by WB, ICC and IP in cell lysates and primary cultures from the listed species. For short-term use it should be stored at 4 °C; for longer-term storage, aliquot and keep at −20 °C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
