DDR1 is a collagen-binding receptor tyrosine kinase that mediates adhesion-dependent signaling between cells and the surrounding extracellular matrix. The unconjugated rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com selectively detects the human DDR1 receptor in western blot workflows, supporting research into collagen-driven signaling, tissue remodeling, and tumor cell–matrix interactions. Supplied as 50 µl of polyclonal antiserum raised in rabbit, this reagent is validated for use on lysates prepared from human cells and tissues. Studies of DDR1 commonly explore its role in epithelial–mesenchymal transition, organ fibrosis, atherosclerosis, and invasive growth across carcinomas of the lung, breast, and brain, where aberrant collagen signaling contributes to disease progression. The unconjugated format gives laboratories flexibility to pair this primary antibody with HRP, fluorescent, or biotinylated secondary reagents of their choice. Storage refrigerated at 4 °C in working aliquots helps preserve activity across repeated experiments.
