DDIT3 (also known as CHOP or GADD153) is a C/EBP-family transcription factor that drives apoptosis downstream of prolonged endoplasmic reticulum stress, making it a widely used marker for unfolded protein response activation in research on cancer cell death, neurodegeneration, diabetes, and ischemic tissue injury.

This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against DDIT3 and supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated antiserum in a vial. It has been validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows across human, mouse, and rat sample backgrounds, supporting comparative studies in cultured cell lines and fixed tissue sections.

Mature DDIT3 accumulates predominantly in the nucleus during stress, and the reagent is commonly used by investigators to track its induction following thapsigargin, tunicamycin, or other pharmacological triggers of ER stress in vitro and in vivo. Store at -20 °C in working aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles, and dilute according to your established protocol for the application of interest.
