DDB2 (Damage-Specific DNA-Binding Protein 2) is the p48 subunit of the UV-DDB heterodimer and a substrate receptor for the CUL4-DDB1 ubiquitin ligase, where it recognizes UV- and cisplatin-induced photoproducts to initiate global genomic nucleotide excision repair. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal from Antibodies.com detects endogenous DDB2 by western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence in human, mouse, and rat samples. The reagent is supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a 100 µl aliquot, allowing direct dilution into standard blocking and permeabilization buffers for chromatin or whole-mount staining workflows.
