Produced as an unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent, this DDB1 antibody targets Damage-specific DNA Binding Protein 1, the ~127 kDa subunit that recognizes UV-damaged chromatin and assembles into the CUL4-DDB1 E3 ubiquitin ligase complex alongside DDB2. Supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, the 100 µl vial from Antibodies.com is validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry on human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting research into nucleotide excision repair, the UV-induced DNA damage response, and CRL4-mediated substrate ubiquitination.
