This Primary Antibody from Antibodies.com is a rabbit polyclonal reagent raised against the DDB1 target and supplied as an unconjugated liquid IgG preparation. It is validated for Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) and Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), and has been shown to react with Human, Mouse and Rat samples. The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to a region within amino acids 800–900 of human DDB1 (Q16531), and the target protein has a reported molecular weight of 127 kDa. The antibody is affinity purified and formulated in Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.3, containing 50% Glycerol and 0.01% Thiomersal, with lot-specific concentration. Recommended starting dilutions are WB 1:500–1:1,000, IHC 1:50–1:100 and ICC/IF 1:50–1:100, and the product is supplied with 6 scientific validation images. It is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at −20°C upon delivery, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles.

Representative validation data are provided: Western blot analysis of extracts of various cell lines was performed at a 1:500 dilution with a Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (HRP) secondary antibody used at 1:10,000, lysates loaded at 25 µg per lane, blocking in 3% non-fat dry milk in TBST, and detection with an ECL Basic Kit with a 30 s exposure time. Immunohistochemistry data are shown for paraffin-embedded rat testis, human gastric cancer and mouse heart, each stained at a 1:100 dilution (40x lens) following microwave antigen retrieval with 10 mM PBS buffer, pH 7.2. The product is intended for research use only and is not for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
