Anti-DCX Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody to Doublecortin (DCX), supplied unconjugated by Antibodies.com as a primary antibody reagent. It is of the IgG isotype and was raised against a recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 265–365 of human Doublecortin (NP_835365.1).

The antibody is validated for Western blotting (WB) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), with reactivity confirmed against human, mouse and rat samples. Recommended working dilutions are 1:500–1:1,000 for WB and 1:50–1:200 for ICC/IF. The target protein has a reported molecular weight of 45 kDa.

The reagent is formulated in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.05% Proclin 300, and is purified by affinity chromatography. It is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at –20°C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
