Anti-DCT Antibody

Offered by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified rabbit polyclonal reagent targets dopachrome tautomerase (DCT, also known as TRP-2) and is raised against a synthesized peptide derived from the internal region of human DCT, enabling detection of endogenous levels of the total DCT protein. The unconjugated antibody is supplied as50 µl of formulation containing rabbit IgG in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺), pH 7.4, with 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, at a final protein concentration of 1.0 mg/mL. It is recommended for Western blot and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) workflows and has been validated for reactivity with human and mouse samples. For handling, the vial is shipped at 4 °C and, upon arrival, should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity. Routine use in melanocyte and pigmentation research makes this DCT antibody a reliable marker for studies involving melanin biosynthesis and related signalling pathways.
