The DCLRE1C protein, also known as Artemis, is a member of the metallo-β-lactamase superfamily that functions as an endonuclease during V(D)J recombination and in non-homologous end joining (NHEJ) DNA double-strand break repair. Mutations in DCLRE1C underlie radiosensitive severe combined immunodeficiency (SCID), with affected individuals lacking mature T and B lymphocytes, which makes well-characterized antibodies against the protein broadly useful in immunology, DNA repair, and radiosensitivity studies.

This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal anti-DCLRE1C antibody, offered by Antibodies.com, is supplied in a vial containing 100 µL of liquid stock and is validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence applications. The reagent cross-reacts with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples, supporting comparative work in cultured cell lines and rodent tissue models. For handling, store at -20 °C and aliquot upon first use to limit freeze-thaw cycles of the antibody stock and preserve binding activity across multiple experiments.
