Anti-DBI Antibody

Validated for Western blot on lysates of human, mouse, and rat origin, this rabbit polyclonal affinity-purified IgG binds endogenous diazepam binding inhibitor (DBI), a ~10 kDa acyl-CoA-binding protein also known as ACBP that has documented roles in GABA-A receptor pharmacology, intracellular acyl-CoA transport, and broader lipid metabolism. Reported shifts in DBI expression span stress-axis studies, adipocyte differentiation models, and several tumor phenotypes, giving the reagent utility across neuroendocrine, metabolic, and cancer cell biology workflows. The unconjugated antibody is supplied as a 1 mg/ml solution in phosphate buffered saline (approximately pH 7.3) with 0.05% sodium azide added as a microbial preservative, packaged as a 100 µl aliquot sized for multiple immunoblots after dilution.
