Manufactured by Antibodies.com and listed under catalogue code A27949, this affinity-purified reagent is a polyclonal antibody raised in Rabbit against dopamine beta-hydroxylase (DBH), the enzyme that converts dopamine to norepinephrine and a widely used marker of catecholaminergic neurons. The antibody is supplied as a 50 µl liquid format at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, and is unconjugated for use with standard secondary detection reagents. The host species is Rabbit, the clonality is Polyclonal, the conjugate state is Unconjugated, and the estimated purity is greater than 95% as determined by affinity chromatography. Validated for Western Blot (WB) applications, the reagent cross-reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples, making it suitable for comparative studies of noradrenergic and dopaminergic pathways across the standard laboratory species. The product is certified for Research Use Only and is intended for investigational work on DBH (also known as Dopamine beta-monooxygenase). For routine handling, the buffered liquid formulation should be stored refrigerated for short-term use and frozen in aliquots for long-term stability, avoiding repeated freeze–thaw cycles to preserve antibody activity.
