Anti-DARS Antibody

The 100 µL antibody vial is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human samples, supporting detection of endogenous aspartyl-tRNA synthetase in cell lysates and formalin-fixed tissue sections. DARS has clinical relevance in neurology: biallelic loss-of-function variants cause hypomyelination with brainstem and spinal cord involvement and leg spasticity (HBSL), and the antibody is used to survey aspartyl-tRNA synthetase levels in patient-derived fibroblasts and post-mortem brain tissue.
