This rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets DACH1 (Dachshund Family Transcription Factor 1), a chromatin-associated transcription factor that operates within the retinal determination gene network and modulates TGF-β signaling through direct interactions with Smad proteins. DACH1 has been widely characterized as a tumor suppressor in epithelial tissues and influences epithelial-mesenchymal transition, proliferation, and differentiation programs in developmental and oncological contexts.

The antibody is intended for Western blot and immunohistochemistry applications, with demonstrated reactivity against Mouse and Rat samples. It is supplied as an unconjugated polyclonal reagent raised in Rabbit, formulated at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% Sodium Azide and 50% glycerol. Each 100 µl vial provides enough working stock for routine immunoblotting of endogenous DACH1 levels in murine and rat tissue lysates, as well as localization studies in fixed tissue sections.

For handling, aliquot upon arrival and store at -20°C to limit freeze-thaw cycles; protect from light. Given DACH1's frequent downregulation in breast, prostate, and ovarian carcinomas, this reagent supports studies of tumor suppressor biology, oncogenic signaling pathways, and developmental gene regulation.
