Supplied through Antibodies.com, this primary antibody is a Protein A purified mouse monoclonal reagent raised against D-dimer, the principal fibrin degradation product released when plasmin digests cross-linked fibrin clots. Supplied at 1 mg per vial in an unconjugated format, the IgG1 isotype antibody is validated for ELISA and Western blot (WB) workflows and is purified by Protein A chromatography to greater than 90% purity in 10 mM phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, containing 0.095% sodium azide as preservative. As a research-use-only reagent, the antibody specifically recognises native human D-dimer and related high molecular weight fibrin degradation products, allowing sensitive detection in plasma or serum samples. Recommended storage is at 2–8 °C; the product should not be frozen. Each lot is dispatched by Antibodies.com from St. Louis, MO, with a typical lead time of 10–14 business days, and is shipped at the standard 1 mg pack size for use in routine ELISA plate coating or as a detection reagent in WB workflows aimed at characterising thrombotic and fibrinolytic disorders.
