Anti-Cytokeratin 7 Antibody

Offered through Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified reagent is a polyclonal primary antibody raised in rabbit against the type II cytoskeletal protein Cytokeratin 7 (KRT7). It is supplied as a 50 µl liquid formulation in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide, at a working concentration of 1 mg/ml, and it is unconjugated, making it well suited for use with standard labelled secondary detection reagents. The immunogen corresponds to a synthesized peptide derived from the C-terminal region of human Cytokeratin 7, and the antibody has been validated for western blotting (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunofluorescence (IF) and ELISA, with reactivity confirmed against human samples. Validated western blot data on the supplier page demonstrate clean bands in HepG2 and RAE264.7 lysates, supporting its use as a cytoskeleton and epithelial cell marker in research workflows. For long-term stability, the product should be stored at −20 °C, where it remains viable for up to one year from the date of dispatch; repeated freeze–thaw cycles should be avoided.
