Anti-Cytokeratin-7 Antibody

This Mouse monoclonal primary antibody from Antibodies.com targets Cytokeratin-7 (CK7), a type II intermediate filament keratin expressed by simple and glandular epithelia. The unconjugated reagent is supplied as 50 µl of mouse IgG1 formulated in TBS pH 7.4 with 1% BSA, 40% glycerol, and 0.05% sodium azide as preservative, and it is validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry on human tissue. In pathology workflows, CK7 staining supports differential diagnosis by highlighting carcinomas of lung, breast, ovarian, endometrial, and urothelial origin while remaining largely negative in colorectal and hepatocellular tumors. The product is shipped as a single-use vial intended for research use only, and the glycerol-rich buffer permits refrigerated storage without freezing. Working aliquots are recommended to limit repeated freeze-thaw exposure of the stock antibody.
