Anti-Cytokeratin 5 (S573) Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this is a rabbit polyclonal antibody specific for Cytokeratin 5. The antibody is unconjugated, raised in rabbit, and reacts with Human, Mouse, and Rat samples. It is validated for Western blotting (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), and detects endogenous levels of Cytokeratin 5 protein.

The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 550–600 of human Cytokeratin 5, and the antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with a stated purity of greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE. The product is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2. The target protein has a molecular weight of approximately 62 kDa.
