Anti-Cytokeratin 20 Antibody

Rabbit polyclonal reagent targeting Cytokeratin 20 (KRT20), supplied by Antibodies.com as a 100 µl vial at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. The unconjugated antibody was raised in rabbit and is validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows on human, mouse, and rat samples.

Cytokeratin 20 is an intermediate filament protein expressed in gastrointestinal epithelium, urothelium, and Merkel cells, and it is routinely used in pathology to help distinguish primary and metastatic colorectal adenocarcinomas, gastric carcinomas, and transitional cell carcinomas of the urinary tract from tumors of other tissue origins. The polyclonal format makes the reagent well suited to detection of multiple KRT20 epitopes in fixed tissue sections and in cell lysates, and the glycerol-containing buffer allows storage at -20 °C with minimal freeze-thaw loss.
