Anti-Cytokeratin 19 Antibody

This recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibody targets Cytokeratin 19 (KRT19), a 40 kDa type I intermediate filament protein expressed in simple and glandular epithelia. CK19 serves as a widely used epithelial marker in tumor pathology, particularly for identifying circulating tumor cells in peripheral blood and characterizing carcinomas of the breast, thyroid, gastrointestinal tract, and liver. The antibody is supplied in 1×TBS (pH 7.4) with 1% BSA, 40% glycerol, and 0.05% sodium azide as preservative; store refrigerated at 4°C and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve binding activity.
