Anti-Cytokeratin 18 Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets Cytokeratin 18 when phosphorylated at Serine 33. It is unconjugated and validated for use in Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC), reacting with human, mouse, and rat samples.

The reagent was raised against a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human Cytokeratin 18 around the phosphorylation site of Serine 33, and specifically detects endogenous levels of Cytokeratin 18 protein only when phosphorylated at Ser33. It has a molecular weight of approximately 46 kDa.

The antibody is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2. It has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen, with purity greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
