Anti-Cytoglobin Antibody

This polyclonal primary antibody from Antibodies.com targets cytoglobin, a heme-containing member of the globin protein family expressed in hepatic stellate cells, neuronal tissue, and cardiac muscle. Raised in rabbit and supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, the reagent supports western blot detection across human, mouse, and rat sample lysates. Cytoglobin, also referenced as CYGB or STAP, functions in intracellular oxygen storage and nitric oxide scavenging, and has been investigated as a marker of oxidative stress and fibrotic remodeling in liver injury models.
