Anti-Cytochrome P450 2D6 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent targets the drug-metabolizing enzyme Cytochrome P450 2D6 (CYP2D6), also referenced by the aliases CYPIID6, Cytochrome P450-DB1, and Debrisoquine 4-hydroxylase. The antibody was raised against a synthesized peptide derived from an internal region of the human CYP2D6 sequence and has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum using epitope-specific affinity chromatography, ensuring recognition of endogenous levels of the total target protein. Supplied as 50 µL of unconjugated Rabbit IgG at a working concentration of 1.0 mg/mL, the reagent is formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺) at pH 7.4, supplemented with 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant. For laboratory convenience, the vial is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted upon arrival and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve binding activity.
