Raised in rabbit against the cytohesin-2 (CYTH2) protein, this unconjugated polyclonal IgG reagent is supplied by Antibodies.com in a 200 µl liquid vial suited to western blot and immunofluorescence workflows on human, mouse, and rat samples. The antibody was generated using a recombinant cytohesin-2 fragment spanning residues 130-384 of the human sequence encoded by BC004361, and is affinity purified for batch-to-batch consistency in trafficking and signaling studies.

Endogenous ARNO migrates at approximately 47 kDa, matching the calculated mass of 46.5 kDa for the 400-amino-acid human polypeptide, with the central Sec7 catalytic core and C-terminal pleckstrin homology (PH) domain accessible under standard reducing SDS-PAGE conditions. Recommended starting dilutions are WB 1:500-1:2000 and IF 1:20-1:200, and the unconjugated IgG leaves the choice of fluorophore, biotin, or enzyme label open for multiplexed immunolabeling. Because ARNO acts as a guanine-nucleotide exchange factor for ARF1, ARF3, and ARF6 at the plasma membrane, this reagent is commonly used to track membrane recruitment of cytohesin-2, GEF-dependent ARF activation, and downstream effects on actin remodeling and integrin-mediated adhesion.

For research use only, the vial should be stored at -20°C in single-use aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycling and preserve antibody titer over long-term storage.
