A primary antibody reagent from Antibodies.com raised in rabbit against human cytohesin-2 (also called ARNO or PSCD2), a 46 kDa ARF-guanine nucleotide exchange factor whose Sec7, coiled-coil, and pleckstrin homology domains organize its catalytic and membrane-targeting functions. Supplied as an unconjugated IgG polyclonal in a 100 µl vial, the reagent is validated for western blot and immunofluorescence on human, mouse, and rat samples and is affinity purified for low-background detection of endogenous protein.

Cytohesin-2 catalyzes GDP/GTP exchange on ARF1, ARF3, and ARF6, so this antibody is used to track ARF-dependent vesicle budding, plasma-membrane recruitment of the GEF, and receptor recycling events. Published work has shown ARNO coupling to Dock180 through its coiled-coil domain to drive ARF-to-Rac signaling and cell migration, and a separate line of work demonstrates cytohesin-2 binding the V-ATPase a2-subunit as part of an acidification-sensitive endosomal signaling complex. The reagent is therefore applied in studies of neutrophil chemotaxis, GPCR internalization, integrin-mediated adhesion, and insulin-driven phospholipase D activation.

Store the vial refrigerated at 4 °C for short-term use or at -20 °C for longer-term storage, avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Intended for research use only and for western blot and immunofluorescence workflows rather than diagnostic procedures.
