Anti-CYP7B1 Antibody

This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody targets human CYP7B1, a microsomal cytochrome P450 enzyme best known for its oxysterol 7α-hydroxylase activity on substrates such as 27-hydroxycholesterol, dehydroepiandrosterone, and related neurosteroid precursors. Because CYP7B1 is studied in the context of bile acid synthesis, neurosteroid metabolism, prostate and breast tissue biology, and certain hereditary spastic paraplegia and hepatic disease models, the antibody is widely used to map tissue expression patterns and to probe protein levels in cell lines engineered to overexpress or knock down CYP7B1.
