Anti-CYP3A4 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit against a synthetic peptide derived from the internal region of human CYP3A4, a key cytochrome P450 enzyme involved in hepatic drug metabolism. The unconjugated antibody is supplied as a 50 µl liquid formulation at 1 mg/mL in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide, and it specifically detects endogenous levels of CYP3A4 protein. Validated applications include Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and ELISA, and the antibody has been shown to react with human, mouse and rat samples, making it a useful hepatocyte marker across a range of experimental models. For optimal stability, the vial should be kept at 4 °C on arrival, then aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
