Anti-CYP3A4 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit against a recombinant human CYP3A4 immunogen and is supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µL aliquot of phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl) containing 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a stabiliser. The unconjugated antibody recognises the endogenous total CYP3A4 protein and has been validated for Western blotting, where it is recommended at 1:500 to 1:2000, and for immunohistochemistry, where a working range of 1:50 to 1:200 delivers clean staining of target tissues. Cross-reactivity has been confirmed on human and mouse samples, making the reagent suitable for comparative studies across these species, while the polyclonal format provides broad epitope coverage of the cytochrome P450 3A4 enzyme that is widely used as a hepatocyte differentiation marker. For best stability, the vial should be aliquoted on receipt and stored at –20 °C, with short-term handling at 4 °C, and repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
