CYP2E1 (Cytochrome P450 2E1) is a Phase I xenobiotic-metabolizing enzyme expressed predominantly in hepatic tissue, where it contributes to the oxidative metabolism of ethanol, acetaminophen, and numerous low-molecular-weight substrates. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised against CYP2E1 and validated for western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows across human, mouse, and rat samples. Supplied as 100 µl of polyclonal antiserum, it is intended for research use only in studies of drug-induced hepatotoxicity, oxidative stress, and CYP-mediated biotransformation. The unconjugated format offers flexibility for downstream labeling with fluorophore- or enzyme-conjugated secondary reagents in chromogenic or fluorescence detection protocols.
