Anti-CYP2E1 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this research-grade rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against the cytochrome P450 2E1 enzyme and is supplied as a 50 µl aliquot at 1 mg/mL in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide. The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by epitope-specific affinity chromatography, using a synthetic peptide derived from the C-terminal region of human CYP2E1 as the immunogen. It is unconjugated and of the IgG isotype, making it well suited to standard detection workflows. Validated applications include Western blotting at 1:500–1:2000, immunohistochemistry at 1:100–1:300, immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) at 1:200–1:1000, and ELISA at 1:5000; the reagent has not yet been tested in additional applications. The antibody specifically detects endogenous levels of CYP2E1 and has been confirmed to react with Human, Mouse and Rat samples. For best stability, the vial is shipped at 4 °C; upon receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at −20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
