CYP19A1 encodes aromatase, the cytochrome P450 enzyme that catalyzes the final, rate-limiting step in estrogen biosynthesis by converting androgens into estrogens. This rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised against CYP19A1 and supports studies in reproductive biology, endocrinology, and breast cancer research, where aromatase activity is a central question. The unconjugated antibody detects Human, Mouse, and Rat CYP19A1 and is applicable to Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunoprecipitation (IP) workflows, enabling translational work across model systems and patient-derived material. The product is supplied as a 100 µl aliquot in a single-use vial and is intended for research use only.
