Anti-CYP17A1 Antibody

This mouse monoclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets CYP17A1 (cytochrome P450 17A1), a dual-function steroidogenic enzyme that mediates 17α-hydroxylation and 17,20-lyase reactions essential for cortisol, androgen, and estrogen biosynthesis. Expressed in the adrenal cortex and gonadal tissues, CYP17A1 is a key node in steroid hormone production and a frequent subject in studies of congenital adrenal hyperplasia, polycystic ovary syndrome, and steroid-dependent cancers. The unconjugated IgG is supplied as a 100 µl liquid in 0.1M Tris-Glycine buffer (pH 7.4) with 150 mM NaCl, 0.2% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant; aliquot and store at -20°C to minimize freeze-thaw cycles.
