Anti-CYP11A1 Antibody

This polyclonal primary antibody, available from Antibodies.com, is raised in rabbit and specifically targets CYP11A1. The unconjugated IgG reagent has been validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence applications, and reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples.

It was generated against a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 41–308 of human CYP11A1 (NP_000772.2). The antibody is supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.3, with 50% glycerol and 0.01% Thiomersal, and is purified by affinity chromatography. The target protein migrates at approximately 50 kDa.

Recommended starting dilutions are 1:100–1:500 for Western blot, 1:20–1:50 for immunohistochemistry, and 1:50–1:200 for ICC/IF. The reagent ships at 4°C and should be aliquoted upon delivery and stored at -20°C; repeated freeze/thaw cycles should be avoided. Concentration is lot specific.
