Anti-CYFIP1 Antibody

Raised in rabbit against cytoplasmic FMR1-interacting protein 1 (CYFIP1), the ~145 kDa scaffolding subunit of the WAVE regulatory complex that links Rac1 signalling to Arp2/3-mediated actin branching at the cell cortex, axonal growth cones, and dendritic spines. This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com binds epitopes on full-length CYFIP1, supporting studies of cytoskeletal remodelling, neuronal differentiation, and fragile X-associated translational control in neural and non-neural cell types.

Supplied as 100 µl of liquid antiserum at approximately 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS), pH ~7.2, with 15 mM sodium azide added as a microbial preservative. The unconjugated antibody is packaged in a single vial and validated for western blot detection of endogenous CYFIP1 in human, mouse, and rat lysates, where a single band is observed at the expected ~145 kDa position on reducing SDS-PAGE.
